Years Ago

A long time ago in a history class, the professor said that assassination and acts of terrorism are an attempt on the part of the few to influence the policy of a larger population. That was my first exposure to the idea that people who did things like that were something in addition to lunatics and morons. I've never gotten over the idea that people who do things like that are crazy. But now I've decided that people are able to snag crazy people and use them to further their own agendas. The people organizing the crazy parade aren't the ones strapping on the suicide vests.
