Today when I got home from volunteering, I rested a bit, drank coffee, and then planted pepper seedlings in the garden, irises that a neighbor swapped for some of my irises, and sultanas. I still have a lot of plants to get off the porch.
We have evidence of an armadillo in our yard. They eat ants and termites among other things.
We've seen locust shells. One year they were awful. Larry said some guy on the radio who is retired from the agriculture department said this is one of their cycle years. He said which one but the cycles sound erratic
