Congestive Heart Failure

Sometimes at the hospital people come in who have retained a lot of fluid quickly.  They want those people to have a set of scales at home so they can check with their doctors sooner and maybe avoid a hospital stay. That was one of the things the volunteers have been asked to sponsor. Sometimes the people can't afford a supplement for Medicare Part B and the hospital stays are terribly expensive, even if they are just paying the twenty percent that Medicare doesn't pay.
