That small place on the upper right side of the switch plate where the electrician cut badly has been bothering me. I am pretty sure I could have repaired the sheetrock, but it seemed harder than just buying a slightly larger switch plate.
I bought an unfinished wooden switch plate cover and painted it brown with a few smudges of metallic copper and metallic gold. Then I put a coat of varnish, sanded, and another coat of varnish. It covered the place I didn't like and looks nice with the light orange paint and the metallic colors of the shower curtain. Yea, Me!
