Hair Appointment

I called today to make an appointment for a trim. I asked if I could bring a thing with me that is supposed to curl my hair so she can show me how to use it. She agreed to try. When I know how to use it, that is no guarantee that I actually will. She thinks it is funny that I'm only willing to spend a couple of minutes on my hair. If this thing takes very long, I've wasted that money. But I've had it a couple of months now and am evidently not willing to experiment with something hot near my face.
