Odd Idea

Another volunteer at the hospital said his optometrist told him he needed reading glasses. He said he didn't, but got the glasses because the doctor said he needed them. He then decided that since he couldn't read without them now, the glasses caused him to need glasses! I told him he was probably used to figuring out what the words were without glasses. Once he started reading with glasses, the words were sharp and his brain rebelled against interpreting the fuzzy words. Getting glasses doesn't make you need glasses!
