Today was warm enough to walk around without worrying about slipping. Almost all the ice is gone. I counted how many bags of soil I need to refresh my tires. I think ten more bags with a nice layer of newspaper under it will get it high enough to put potting soil on top and then the strawberries. I didn't buy a load of mulch last year, but I think I'll get one this year.
It's sprinkling now, but the temperature is comfortingly high enough that I don't think we'll have to worry about ice.
