It seems to be in conjunction with FEMA. I saw it on the news and looked it up. It was pretty hard to get to information on individual and family preparedness as it spent a lot of space on Tennessee preparedness and agencies.http://www.tnema.org/ReadyTN/preparedness.html
I decided I didn't answer your question. The FEMA site is about various types of catastrophes. Tornados, straight line winds, etc., mostly weather problems apparently might cause people to need emergency preparedness on an individual basis. I didn't notice anything about earthquake preparedness even though we have a major fault in our area.
