Numb Toes

Larry told the doctor he has numb toes and asked if it had to do with diabetes or pinched nerve.  He referred Larry to a podiatrist.  Today he went for that appointment.  The doctor said he has what is called "victory toes."  The toes spread apart in a "v" shape.  Larry said it had been a problem off and on for about 20 years.  But more of the toes had started feeling numb lately.  He said he could give him a shot and in about three weeks he would be fine.  He said it is sort of like a stone bruise at first but scar tissue builds up and starts forcing the toes apart.  Without the shot, it would continue to get worse.  He said planning tennis could have caused it as he would have been on his toes a lot.
We're really glad it was that instead of nerve damage due to diabetes!  And it is such an easy cure...one shot.
