Three Days in a Row

We've had the repairman out here three days in a row because the thermostat on our gas fireplace wasn't working.  Today (again) the repairman said it is fixed.  Today he said he thought it was a wireless channel that was interfering with the signal on the fireplace. He said his was messed up for about a year.  He could turn it on or off manually, but the thermostat and remote wouldn't work.  He eventually used a scanner and discovered the interference was coming from across the road from him.  I hope he fixed ours.  I'll bet he hopes so, too.
