Practicing Painting

A new favorite flower is the columbine. It seeds freely and has lovely flowers with more than one color. I didn't like them at first because they don't show up at a distance. But the cure for that problem was simple, I planted them close to the end of the porch and beside the carport.
Then I decided I wanted to paint them. I didn't have a pattern so I looked up a picture on the internet and sketched it. Then I tried painting them on these wooden ornaments. I think they turned out pretty well.
