The doctor said I was Type 2 diabetic and I decided to go on the Atkins diet. I've lost a lot of weight. But, a three-month average of my blood sugar is an average. So most of the time I do low-carb, but when I don't it is hardly ever junk food...it has to be worth the carbs.
I think that last month's splurge was worth the carbs. I gave one of the loaves away.
