Today I vacuumed spiders off the porch and washed coffee I'd decorated with earlier in the week. While I was at it, I washed specks of something off one porch wall.
I admired the crepe myrtle that has started to bloom beside the mimosa.
I measured the height of the mattress topper I have spread out to absorb air. It has a gel layer that is supposed to disperse heat and a layer of memory foam that I hope will allow our joints to feel better. A lovely new mattress with all the fancy stuff would be great, but more expensive than I'm willing to spring for right now.
